What is a LoRa network?

A LoRa network is a radio network that allows for the transfer of information from a connected object to a user platform.

Connected objects can be of various kinds and have different functions. There are, for example, energy meters, CO₂ sensors, presence sensors and temperature sensors.

The LoRa network stands out from other radio networks thanks to the following advantages:

• Long-range communication
• Low battery consumption and long battery life
• Use of a licence-free frequency band

What is a private LoRa network?
