Data protection policy
The present personal data protection policy describes the methods that we here at Index+ use to collect, manage and use information about the visitors to our website. This policy may be modified, supplemented, deleted or updated; however, we will always process your personal data in accordance with policies in effect at the moment this data is collected. Our goal is to keep you regularly informed on this page of any changes that may be made to this policy, so that you are always fully informed of the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the circumstances in which it may be communicated.
1. Guarantees on the confidentiality of data
The term “personal data,” such as it is used in the present policy refers to information such as your name, date of birth, email address or telephone number that makes it possible to identify you. As a general rule, we will process your personal data according to the procedure described in this policy. We reserve the right to proceed to further processing should it be required by law or within the framework of an inquiry, notably criminal investigations. The following sections explain the ways in which your personal data is collected.
2. 2. Use of personal data
Most of our services do not require any registration or sign in forms, which thus allows you to visit our site without identifying yourself. However, certain services may require the communication of certain personal data. In these cases, if you choose not to communicate the information we request, you may not be able to access certain parts of the site and we will be unable to respond to your request. According to local regulations in force, your personal data allows us to supply you with products and services, to invoice you for the products and services requested, to propose products and services that may interest you or to communicate with you for other obvious purposes given the circumstances and about which we will inform you when we collect your personal data.
3. Non-communication of personal data
Your personal data will never be sold, shared or communicated to third parties outside of cases provided for in this present policy. We may, however, need to communicate your data to the company that handles the technical aspects of this site (PYM), who accepts to process this data in compliance with the present policy. These transfers take place within the framework of agreements by which these companies have pledged to respect the level of data protection offered by European legislation or in compliance with other measures recognized by existing legislation. Your personal data may also be transmitted to third parties acting for us or on our behalf in the framework of specific processing in conformity to the purposes for which it was initially collected, or may be processed legally in accordance with existing local regulations, in the framework of activities such as the provision of services, the assessment of the usefulness of the site, commercialization and product marketing, data management or technical support. These third parties are committed by contract to only use your personal data for agreed upon purposes and to not sell it or disclose it to others unless the law requires it, unless we explicitly authorize it, or if there is a provision provided for in this sense in the present policy.
Personal data may be disclosed to a third party if we are constrained to do so within the framework of a law or regulation in force, of a judicial order or governmental regulation, or if this disclosure is required in the process of an inquiry or a criminal procedure, on national territory or abroad.
4. Right to access, rectification and opposition
Each time that we process personal data, we take all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of your data in conformity with the purposes for which we collect it. You have right to oppose the processing of your personal data for legitimate reasons, that is, if this processing is not reasonably necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interests as described in the present policy, or in compliance with the law. In the event of commercial prospecting, including by electronic means, we will supply you with the means allowing you to oppose receiving information or to consent to it, in compliance with the law. If you wish to know how we are using your personal data, or to oppose the processing of said data, contact us by email at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org In this case, please indicate the name of the website on which you have communicated your information, as well as the information that you wish to be corrected, updated, or deleted, by clearly identifying yourself. Requests for the deletion of personal data are subject to legal obligations, in particular in terms of the retention or archiving of documents.
5. Security and confidentiality
To ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data that we collect online, we use networks protected by standard features such as firewalls and passwords. During the processing of personal data we take all reasonable measures to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file, potentially encrypted, saved by a website on the computer or device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) that you use to consult the site. The purpose of these cookies is to accelerate and personalize your use of the site as you visit it and return to it.
To do this, cookies communicate information between your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and the server that hosts the website, for example concerning your preferences on how the site is displayed (language, font size, etc.), your browsing history, your choice of the options proposed by a site or login data.
What cookies do we use on the site?
- Functional cookies: These cookies are part of the content management platform, which we can describe as the “engine” of the site. These cookies make it possible to manage certain of the site’s functionalities. They are anonymous (no information collected makes it possible to determine your identity). Moreover, with the exception of cookies setting your linguistic preference, they expire when you close your browser. They are thus deleted from your computer or device when you quit this program.
- Statistical cookies: The site makes use of the services of Google Analytics in order to analyze the visitor numbers and behavior of users of the site. Statistical cookies make it possible, for example, to know the number of visitors, where they are located, their journey on the site (how and by what page they accessed it, the pages that followed their session and the page on which they left the site), the time of the visit, etc. These cookies are anonymous and they can last up to two years.
How to manage cookies?
You can manage and/or delete cookies as you wish using the configuration settings of your browser. You can delete all cookies already stored on your computer and configure most browsers so that they block them. Nevertheless, in this case, you may have to indicate yourself certain preferences each time that you go to a site, and some functional services may not be accessible.

Most of the services available on this site are intended for people aged 18 or over. We will not knowingly collect, use or disclose the personal data communicated by a minor under 18, without having obtained the prior consent of their legal guardian via a direct agreement.
